ABOUT

Translated literally from the Latin, ad hoc means “for this.” When used to describe a project, the words ad hoc indicate that the project will address a specific issue or fulfill a certain goal. Ad Hoc Communications was founded to meet organizations’ communication needs, from strategy development to plan implementation.

Our motto, “words at work,” describes both the process and the result of effective corporate communications. We help clients tell their stories clearly, consistently, and cleverly. The results? Stronger brands, more engaged employees, and better business outcomes.

Principal

Jennifer Lynch opened Ad Hoc Communications in 1999. Since that time, the advent of social media, the ubiquity of smart devices, the potential of the Internet of Things, and the speed at which a message reaches an audience have profoundly affected the ways individuals and organizations communicate.

But what hasn’t changed is the approach Jennifer takes to consulting assignments: Work hard. Make clients happy. Have fun. She remains flexible in her ability to adapt to clients’ unique needs, inflexible in her commitment to finding a solution to every challenge.
